Meet the Founder

Nguyen Ba Nam is the Founder of Mockup Asia and Creative Director / Head of Design at Manlab Design Studio, an independent branding studio based in Da Nang, Vietnam.

With over 10 years of experience in branding, packaging, and visual design, Nam is known for his distinctive, unconventional thinking rooted in functionality and real-world usability. His approach blends creativity with clarity, bringing together aesthetics, cultural context, and sustainable values.

Education

Nam’s creative journey is shaped by both local and international learning experiences:

  • Studied Architecture in Hue, Vietnam
  • Completed a short-term intensive program at FPT Arena Multimedia in Hanoi
  • In 2019, studied abroad in Spain at CESINE University, majoring in Design Creation
    After returning to Vietnam, he launched his own ventures in design and creative content — including Mockup Asia and Manlab Studio.
