License Terms for PSD Mockups

Every mockup from Mockup Asia comes with a license that tells you exactly where you can use it. We kept it short: one definition, one rule that never changes, and three licenses that differ only in how far you can take your work.

The short version: the Standard License covers one brand. Need more brands, paid ads or print campaigns? Choose Extended. Selling products built on our images at scale? Choose Commercial.

Key definitions

  • Brand – one business, label or product line under a single name, including all of its products, flavors, variants and sizes. A new flavor of the same tea brand is the same brand. A different company is a new brand.
  • Source file – the editable PSD we deliver, including its smart objects and layers.
  • Rendered image – a flattened image (JPG, PNG, PDF, etc.) exported from the source file with your design applied.
  • Paid advertising – any promotion you or your client pay to place: boosted posts, social or search ads, sponsored placements, and printed advertising.
  • Out-of-home – billboards, transit ads, street furniture and other public displays, as well as TV and broadcast.

The rule that applies to every license

You may share rendered images as widely as your license allows. You may never share, sell, give away or sublicense the source file, on its own or bundled with anything else, modified or not. If your client needs the editable PSD, they must purchase their own license.

Source files may also not be used to train, fine-tune or build datasets for AI models.

⬆️ Upgrading

Started with Standard and now need more? You don't need to buy the mockup again. Email contact@mockup.asia with your order number and we'll upgrade your license. You only pay the difference.

💬 Common questions

I own a matcha brand and I'm launching a new flavor. Do I need a new license?
No. Every product, flavor and variant of your brand is covered by the Standard License.

I'm a designer and I used a mockup for one client. Can I use it for a second client?
Not with the Standard License, because a second client is a second brand. Upgrade to Extended and you can use it for every client from now on.

My client wants the PSD so their team can edit it.
Your license lets you deliver rendered images only. Your client needs to purchase their own license for the source file.

Can I boost an Instagram post that uses the mockup?
Boosting is paid advertising, so you need the Extended or Commercial License.

🏷️ Quantity discounts

We offer automatic discounts when multiple mockups are added to the cart. Discounts apply at checkout without the need for a promo code.
